Latina magazine fucks up (again!) listing Zimmerman as one of 2012s most fascinating Latinos
if there was EVER a time to quit Latina magazine, it’s right fucking NOW! this anti-Black bullshit, this not valuing the lives of youth of Color, esp when they are young Black men, this privileging and being “fascinated” by white skinned/raced/presenting Latin@s is literally killing those of us who don’t have that racial classification. Those of us who are Afr@Latin@s won’t stand for it and will survive this ish.
Fuck Latina magazine.

Charting 2012’s Top Cultural Obsessions
You can’t talk 2012 without talking GIFs: the year’s cultural superstar, the Oxford American Dictionary’s word of the year, and the means by which the internet shared its obsessions (and we all know the internet really likes to obsess). From the GIF to politics to the apocalypse to Honey Boo Boo, the guys from I Love Charts bring you the year’s top cultural obsessions — in GIF form, of course.
Zombies
2012 was a year where major issues dominated the global narrative. Mainly we talked about the election and zombies.

People who are so super excited about Chris Brown deleting his twitter, but have pics of Michael Fassbender on their blog
So I have a friend who HATES Chris Brown. Like, will walk out of a club if his song plays. But this friend is totally fine listening to Eminem, including “Love the way you lie” which is ALL ABOUT domestic violence. And this friend is white (surprise surprise)
I mean, I don’t like Chris Brown either. But I think this kind of hyopocracy is dangerous.
