Dear Arizona: HB 2549 is horribly unconstitutional, and if your Governor signs it into law, you should probably get a new one.
Awful, horrible, and I can’t believe it made it all the way to the Governor.
How exactly do you judge the motives of interpersonal communication via the internet? How do you accurately determine if something was said or done “with the intent to ‘terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy, or offend,’”? I know this was written with good intentions, but it’s strayed into the territory of unconstitutional and it must be stopped.
