digital-femme: queerkhmer: brodinsons: So this has been happening on Sam Jackson’s twitter. I’m not going to bother blanking out the names because uh … blatant racism/hate speech? Let’s get these ignorant fucks reported and blocked. Always remember that this election is about racism. And always remember that this type of racism is all too mainstream. And yet I haven’t seen any vitriol towards Evans. Fascinating. People won’t go up into arms when people like Chris Evans endorse President Obama, yet they’ll get all in a tizzy when a well-established African-American actor endorses President Obama in a profanity-laced political ad. Conservatives, remember this: you had Ted Nugent, an endorsee of Mitt Romney, who legitimately threatened the POTUS with assassination threats, yet you glossed over his threats as if they didn’t matter. The only thing Jackson did was endorse a candidate. One of your most semi-known celebrities threatened to kill the President. In a coherent world, only one of those would have shown red flags. However, it wasn’t the one that you responded to. Shameful, disgraceful, and too stereotypical of your political party. I’ll let Samuel take over my commentary:
