Dear White People,

If you use the word “colored” to talk about people of color and/or use the phrase “I’m not racist, but” you’re probably about to do something racist. In order to avoid embarrassing yourself, I strongly suggest you erase whatever the hell you just wrote and smack yourself.

You really need to do a lot of self examination if you use those phrases and don’t see a problem with it.
