Flag Counter The Political Freakshow • I am re-watching the CNN special about the Murfreesboro mosque that right-wing bigots and assholes tried to stop the mosque from being built. It seems to me that right-wing Christians who supported halting construction of the mosque wanted their religion, who has caused the most deaths in the world, to be able to build anywhere and everywhere they want, but in the same breath they want to stop every other religion from having any freedoms in this country. Republican Christians have turned this country into a theocracy, full of bigots in elected positions. I have had frustrations and anger bubble back up over the issue. A religion that was hijacked on 9/11 is getting railroaded by conservative bigots who only want the world to follow Christ, while they terrorize the crap out of everyone else opposite of them. As a Christian who is actually tolerant, accepting, and loving of everyone, it frustrates me and bothers me to the core that conservative "Christian" bigots have perverted the religion that I partake in. End of long rant!
